Skiworld Ski Hosts
We are proud to offer a ski hosting service exclusively for Skiworld guests that has been
devised to help you get to know and appreciate the full extent of the resort you have chosen so
that you can share our passion for it.
Our hosted ski groups are always very popular and the best way to meet like-minded skiers or boarders of a similar standard. Our ski host service is offered for a minimum of 3 days in all our chalet resorts except St Anton (where it has been forbidden) and is aimed at competent skiers or boarders.
Due to local regulations, we are no longer able to offer ski guiding by our staff in St Anton. We are able however to offer one day's ski guiding in Lech (for a small transport fee).
Join our ski hosts for a tour of the pistes to help you get to know the resort and avoid the queues. They often organise outings to a nearby resort usually covered on your lift pass.
In our North American chalet resorts we offer a minimum of one day’s ski or board guiding each week and our staff will be able to provide details of free Ski Ambassador services. Unique in North American resorts, ‘Ski Ambassadors’ are local people employed by the resort to show visitors around the pistes.
As you would expect, our service is entirely weather dependent and on a first-come, first-served basis.
Beginners Welcome!
Always wanted to try skiing but don’t know where to start? Or do you have a beginner in your group? We love skiing and we are very keen for more people to share our passion. With this in mind, we have devised some low-priced packages designed exclusively for people who have not skied before.
We have carefully chosen ski schools with excellent reputations for beginners who will help
ease you into skiing whilst ensuring that as well as having fun, you establish the right technical
foundations in order to progress.
In some cases a lift pass is not needed when you first start as many resorts have free beginner lifts at the base of the mountain. In other instances some of the best easy slopes are higher up and you will need a pass right at the beginning. Our great value packages include:
• Hire of skis or board and boots
• Ski school or board instruction
• Lift pass
*Our service is subject to local laws and weather conditions and is subject to minimum and maximum numbers. Places are offered on a first come first served basis. In the event of our service being curtailed or restricted by local regulations, we may be obliged to hire local guides and we reserve the right to pass on these costs. |
