Valle Nevado - The Resort...

Situated just 35 miles from Santiago, Valle Nevado is one of Chile’s newest ski resorts. Joined with La Parva and El Colorado they make the Tres Valles, and offer the biggest linked area of pistes in Chile. The resort of Valle Nevado is ski in/out, with the restaurants and bars all within walking distance of the hotels meaning there are no hassles of travel. The village has a French feel to it with high wooden buildings, but it is the spectacular views of the Andes which steals the show.

The skiing and boarding in Valle Nevado

The skiing in Valle Nevado is superb with high, consistent snowfall and long sunny days to enjoy the incredibly Andean scenery that surrounds you. With perfectly groomed runs, a highly efficient and modern lift system and lots of natural bumps; the resort is perfect for everyone, although intermediates will definitely have the most choice. The regional lift pass allows access to 23,000 acres of skiing, with lots of off piste opportunities in dry and light, often waist deep powder. Valle Nevado is also the only resort in South America to offer heli-skiing, with 4,000 vertical metres of terrain to challenge yourself on.

The après ski in Valle Nevado

In all Chilean resorts, the majority of the après ski takes place at the hotels themselves, with the general vibe to kick back and enjoy the Andes with a glass of local wine. However, if you are looking for something a bit livelier then there is a relaxed nightlife with the Piano bar being a livelier place to visit earlier in the evening before heading to the Snowbird Disco for those wanting to dance away.

Summer Skiing in Valle Nevado

If skiing over the British winter months doesn't interest you, maybe a summer skiing trip to South America willl! Valle Nevado of Chile is a beautiful resort that boasts records of long and sunny skiing days. This will be the ultimate skiing experience for you if you want to mix skiing with beautiful weather...
